Data handling connected to our websites takes place in the offices of Purple Home and is handled by specialized technical staff in the data treatment office or by those charged with periodical maintenance operations. No data coming from the web services is communicated or put in circulation. Personal data supplied by users sending in requests for information (commercial requests, newsletters, answers to questions, etc.) is only used to carry out the service requested and only communicated to third parties if it is necessary to provide the service. We receive and store personal data completed on our website or that you provide us by any other means. Those data are: your personal information, your contact information, your transport mode, the time of request, and your opinion on the quality of our services. Please note that we do not have access to your credit card details, those data are managed directly by our online payment partner. Most of the information requested on our website is mandatory in order for you to book an apartment. Mandatory information is indicated with an asterisk (*). If you use any social media featured on our websites, we will have access to the information stored by this media, i.e. name, gender, picture and other information you have chosen to make available. 


We use your personal data in order to provide you with the apartment booked on our websites, to create your personal account, to manage your booking, to fix any issue related to our service, to communicate with you, to inform you about our offers, and to get your opinion on our websites and services. You may receive from us newsletters or emails presenting offers that might interest you. If you do not wish to receive those emails, you can indicate it to our customer service, easily reachable from our “Contact us” website section. Personal information we collect is shared with: 

  • Purple Home employees, in order to best manage your bookings, to answer your potential questions and to send you our commercial offers, only if it is part of their duties.

  • Property owners or their representatives, to best organize your arrival and your stay in the apartment (number of guests, babies, arrival time, etc.).

  • Serviced apartment and villas we reference on our website, if you have made a booking in their residence.

  • Legal organizations, when required by law or to investigate illegal or fraudulent activities.


Besides what is stated above regarding navigation data, the user is free to supply personal data in request forms to Purple Home or provided in contact to speed up the process of sending information or other communications. However, not providing the data, means that the above information cannot be sent. 


Those providing their personal data can at any time request confirmation that said data exists or not and check that it is correct or request it be integrated, updated, rectified or deleted (art. 7 of legislative Decree no. 196/2003). In compliance with the above article, they have the right to ask for said data to be cancelled, made anonymous or blocked if handled in violation to the law and oppose it being handled, for legitimate reasons.
