Rose petals at the Pantheon

The traditional deluge of rose petals falling down through the Pantheon’s “Eye in the sky”, the 9 meters oculus radiating rays of sunshine, will take place in Rome on Sunday 15 May in occasion of the feast of Pentecost. This is an old tradition that, after being suspended for centuries, was finally restored in 1995. A spectacular sight not to be missed!
