The World Press Photo arrives in Rome from 29 April to 29 May; the photos of 42 international photographers awarded in 2015 with the World Press Photo Prize – the most important award for photojournalism – will be exposed at the Museum of Rome in Trastevere. A chance to discover the masterpieces chosen among 82,951 images, shot by 6.000 photographers from 128 nations. The exhibition is organized in 6 categories - News, Portrait, Daily Life, Nature, Sport and Long-Term Project – and allows to discover the main countries and events that had characterized the last year, from the carbon industry in China to the storms in Australia, from the European migrants crisis to the war in Siria, from the violence in Honduras to the explorations of Antarctica.
